Thayne Rainy Weekend - May 2012, a set on Flickr.

Memorial Day Weekend was spent in Wyoming at my parents house. My Dad was gone on a job so we hung out with my mom the whole weekend. It was awesome. The weather was inclement but we had tons of fun anyway and even got a gnarly bike ride in during a short sunny respite. Good Times.

Half Marathon Weekend - April 28 -29, 2012, a set on Flickr.

I ran the Thanksgiving Point Half Marathon with Emily Soderberg. It was a great experience. I ran it in 1:49.10 and beat my Surf City time by five minutes so I was really pleased with that. My parents came down to watch the race and stayed for the weekend. Good Times.

Weekend w/ Libby and Noelle - April 21 2012, a set on Flickr.

Noelle and Liberty Jackson (My cousin Amy’s girls) joined us for the weekend. We went to the zoo, took the dog for a walk, hung out with my mother for a bit, made rubber bouncy balls, dipped strawberries in chocolate, went for a hike to see a waterfall and played the wii. Good times. Great girls.

2012 April 14th & 15th - Weekend With Parents, a set on Flickr.

We had an awesome weekend with my parents and other family for my mothers birthday. It started with an epic bike ride out to the Spiral Jetty which actually turned out to no be the Spiral Jetty. We were about half a mile away. After the ride we drove to logan and had delicious Cafe Sabor. The next day (Sunday) we went on an awesome hike/walk in Hyde Park and then after church to the playground with Noelle and Libby Jackson. The weekend was rounded out by some trampolining where my brother showed that he is athletic AND funny.

3D ultrasound of our baby! We are getting more and more excited.

In my office. In between writing emails doing grades and prepping for class. (Taken with instagram)

Going to playgrounds is always fun with a child who is as daring as Noelle is. She isn’t worried about if a slide is too high or goes too fast. She is fun. We visited the park by our house and then later went to a playground equipment store that looks like it is closed for the winter and played on their equipment.

Video of my drive home today. I used the app iTimeLapse. It’s a stop motion video app. There are a couple spots where the video skips when Tiffany called me twice. I tried to connect the camera to my dash but it didn’t work so I hooked it to my rear view mirror. Kinda fun.

Tonight after the aquarium we went to Costa Vida with Tiffs parents. They have corn tortillas so I can eat there (Im gluten intolerant). Later, at home we did valentines sugar cookies. We frosted cookies while Noelle frosted her tongue. She’s super helpful.

Today while I was at work Tiffany and Noelle (our niece) went sledding. It has gotten snowy again for a few days and they weren’t going to let it go to waste. I finished with work early and was able to go to the aquarium with them. Tiff and I love the aquarium here in Sandy so we each bought two year passes today. Every time we go to the aquarium there is something new and exciting. Today was the first time we had seen the new otters. Noelle was loving everything. I love having a kid that we can bring with us and feel justified in doing all the kid stuff that Tiff and I like to do. Pretty soon we will have our very own.

Right now while I am blogging Tiffany is studying her work stuff; Pulminary Hypertension. She is reciting medical terms. They’re pretty funny words like Prosticyclins, Intercellular CAMP, Flolan, Ventavis, Epoprostinal. My wife is super smart.
